Who Is Rock-N-Water?

Founded in 1989, Rock-N-Water is a Christian organization dedicated to guiding people into the beauty of God’s creation through adventures that promote personal, relational, and spiritual growth.

We emphasize biblical principles and use nature, friendship, and challenge to develop character. Our committed staff consists of Christians with strong outdoor leadership skills, who take personal responsibility for each individual they lead.

The safety, spiritual growth, learning, and enjoyment of your students are our staff's top priorities, as they strive to be instruments of Jesus in their lives.

Why the outdoors?

Ever wonder why Rock-N-Water emphasizes outdoor experiences at Summer Camp?

We believe that spending time in God’s creation allows for unique opportunities for fun, deepens relationships, and facilitates spiritual growth.

Today's students are increasingly disconnected from the natural world, growing up indoors and often feeling lonely despite being “connected” online.

We are concerned about their spiritual growth and the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs that often go unmet.

Where is Rock-N-Water Located?

Our base camp is in Lotus, California, near Coloma, about an hour from Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe.

We have a rustic riverfront property on the South Fork of the American River, equipped with showers, flushing toilets, and a commercial kitchen.

We embrace outdoor living for meals, sleep, and play, with many adventures just an hour's drive away.
